Max Euwe Mystery Man

I have played through his games. I know that he was a math teacher and an accomplished amateur boxer. But I have never heard his name said aloud by anyone.

I would say it: you
My folks of Yorkshire extraction who wouldn't know a Dutchman from a potato say it as :you way.

Anyone Dutch can help? I haven't known how to say it since I played through his games in the 80's.
I need to know!
The Dutch „eu“ is pronounced like a German „ö“ or „oe“.

So like the German „Löwe“ (lion) without the L.

so like French "eu". as in "oeuf" or more like "eux".

Boxing. Any parkinson later in life?

This is a treasure of chess history! Euwe and Botvinnik playing blind rapid chess. The moves are announced in german language. The comments from the commentator are in dutch language. This is an awesome time document of two of the greatest players of all time! Watch it!
If I'm remembering right, one of the friends of Anne Frank for a time had Max Euwe as her math teacher.
Thank you Odoaker! That is excellent! (I liked the annoyed expression on Euwe when the announcer babbled loudly.)
