make the board blank or invisible?

Hi - is there a good way to make the chessboard disappear, i.e. display "blank" or "invisible," with no 8x8 grid visible onscreen?

This is to support blindfold play, along with the very cool text-input and spoken-move features.

No. you can only make the pieces invisible. But you still would see the board.
