It is a fact that LiChess does not use any external software to track user data. But we do not know if LiChess uses homemade analytic tracking codes to do that - - and this I will confirm sooner or later
I cannot put my foot down right now on either side because I do not know for a fact, because I am not a coder, whether LiChess or for that matter any company's website can track data without the help of ANY 3rd party tools. I will ask around a few friends of mine to:
1. Check if what LiChess claims is/are true?
2. Is it possible for a website/company to track data with an in-house tool so that it does not have to integrate any third party? If yes, well, LiChess tracks. If not then it does not.
