Imagining a new app

Hi. I would like to share with you some ideas.

A chess app, where you can enter inside a chess tournament, where there are 10 players, for example, each one play against another. Victory = 3 points, Draw = 1 points, Defeat = 0 points.

After all the games are played (If blitz 5 + 0, the time spent would be 90 minutes), the first player challenges the fourth and the second challenges the third place. Semi-finals.

The winners fight for the title of the small championship.

If you win, you'll get a digital medal that will appear for you and others, in your profile.

You'll earn points, according to the importance of the championship.

You can also qualify for national championships or even international ones.

It could have 20 players, with 8 players qualifying to challenge one another, in a deathmatch.
I think cheating and interest from other people may be a problem
....You literally just described how chess tournaments are supposed to work.
This is not a new idea whatsoever.

it's true most tournaments are round-robins, but this one includes finals and semifinals

Some chess tournaments do that already.
