Curious, given your 2300 puzzle rating, why you didn't methodically review all possible checks (since you know the solution has to be a checkmate) and arrive at the solution quickly. Starting with Queen check, then Bishop check, and once those prove inadequate, the pawns should be next. Perhaps we tackle puzzles differently. What is your methodology?
