I can't handle tilting and losing rating

My highest blitz rating is 1923. I know that I can easily play at 1900 strenght. But I allow myself to tilt and lose lots of rating. I lost 40 rating points today (again) and I am now at 1788 which I think is ridiculously low for me. I think that my rating is trash if it is under 1850 (could be an issue). I was at 1865 (28.8.2022) but I managed to drop 60 points in one day. Today I could have just stopped at 1839 but instead I tried to push for 1850 (bad idea after over 10 games).

I constantly tilt and can't maintain a good rating for me.

You're saying that 1788 is a bad Blitz Rating at lichess, don't be so hard on yourself...
Surprise, it's actually a decent rating at Lichess.
It's gets more difficult after roughly 1800 upward.

Yes, 1788 is not bad on lichess, as 1500 is the average. That is why I had "for me" in that sentence. It is not where I want to be as I know that I am more like 1888 when I don't tilt.

Maturity happens eventually in most cases. Hope it arrives sooner than later for you.

striving is good but don't drive yourself crazy over a game of little wooden squares and pieces. Some activities all parties win. Romance, fine meal at restaurant (cook gets paid). Why get stuck in 0/1 world?

My highest blitz rating was 2031 and I tilted so much that now I am 1776. I simply cannot concentrate nowadays.

Oh damn. And I thought that the difference between my highest rating and my current rating was a lot lol.

Aah today I was at 1895 at some point but now down to 1823. I am pretty good at this.

Accept that you will never make GM and play for fun. Leave your ego out of it and enjoy the game, you will lose some and win some, if you get hung up on ratings there will be no pleasure to be had playing. At that point why bother.

Its just a number.. And if you can't keep that rating you likely are near your maximum so you will lose it sometimes and likely return to it .. just again to drop.

I mean if you are 1850.. then its kind of logical that you oscilate between 1800 - 1900 -_-.
