I cannot reach 1900

My blitz rating has been stuck between 1850-1900 for a while now, but I have never broke 1900... My tactics rating is over 2100, but it does not translate at all in my games. Should I look for a lichess coach? What rating range is sufficient to effectively help me reach, say 2000?

Carlsen has the same problem. He cannot reach 2900 Elo FIDE.

Baaaah rook endings are so boring! xD
The basic knowledge of them doesnt really matter in blitz.

You have already been so close - without any coach - and I dont think you need one to achieve 1900.
Less you care about hitting a certain number and enjoy playing without thinking about your rating or even worse, thinking about how much points you gain/lose during the game the greater is the chance that you will achieve your goals.
Just be confident that you can make it - keep playing - I am sure on a good day you will have a winning streak and get there.
Good skills and best of luck :-)

Will getting a coach improve my games, tho? I really feel like I am plateauing... I don't mind spending 30-ish bucks per hour for a coach, as long as I am getting better somehow.

There are so many "free" coaches - watch the streamers for example.
Pick the ones who explain much and play rapid games.
There is a classical shield arena tonight and some strong players might be streaming it.
Or check youtube for free material.
As for personal coaching - I am wrong person to respond - I never had a coach as an adult, I quit chess as prodigy when I was 12years old - and after that... no training, just been playing fast games for fun and to relax :-)
Maybe someone who hired a coach from lichess-coaching-page will share his/her experience.

I would be glad to coach you. I may not be a master but I know a few tricks.

A coach may definitely help you improve. I say may because he can only tell you things, you have to actually be able to incorporate them into your thinking/play to see improvement. I would suggest a coach only if you’re unable to figure out what you can do to improve, or if you’re unable to understand how to fix something.

Are you struggling in endgames? Work on endgames. Getting inferior openings often? Work out more concrete openings. Missing tactics? Build up your tactical patterns and work on looking at tactics each position before deciding moves (checks>captures>threats/CCT).

Coaching can help speed this up perhaps, but it’ll still be up to you to do the hard work. Teachers teach, but it’s always the student that has to do the actual learning in every case. Don’t give up!
