How to block Computer users

There are many users on this site who use Computer assistance, as it is evident in the profile description itself.

For example, I was playing against a player today with the username Togus. After losing several games, I went to his profile (en.lichess.org/@/togus) only to see a red warning message saying "This player uses chess computer assistance".

Why does lichess allow these users to remain active, and is there a way that I can block all the users who use computer assistance so that I don't end up accepting their open challenges and they don't accept mine? There is no point playing games against such cheats and realizing after a lot of time that you were playing against a computer.

Cheaters are allowed to play unrated games - and other cheaters in rated games. If they weren't, they would just create a new account and start cheating again in rated games.

There is a way, it's to play rated games. They can't join that.

Ok. But then what is it that you meant when you said "and other cheaters in rated games" in your first comment?

Users marked as an engine can only play other users marked as engines in rated games. By playing rated games you would avoid them :)

Alright, thanks. There are times when I prefer playing Unrated, because living in a third-world developing country, you face power cuts at times :-( but guess have to face the cheaters then!

If in doubt you could always scroll over their username, or check their profile. Engines are clearly marked.

I agree. Today I again played 3 games against a user "korti" and after losing all 3, I realized he is marked as "This player uses computer assistance". We should not have to hover over the username to check this - it would be better if the username itself is highlighted with a red mark next to it. There is no point wasting time in so many games against them and also bearing the frustration of it.
