I believe you just need to get lucky and have one of your moves from a game chosen. So just keep playing I guess.

I’ve seen lots of good puzzles, and I decided to try and make my own. I started using the board editor to try making my own, but then I saw that it didn’t work. Does anyone know how?
- Create a study
- At the Analysis Mode section choose Interactive Lesson and continue to make the blue octopus puzzle.
I find it easiest to use a FEN or position from the editor for that.
From there you need to make sure that you start with the last move of the opponent, and only then the winning move(s).
There is preview during editing this, but if you want to really test it in a forum post it makes sense to either not log in or use another web browser where you are not logged.

You mean composing puzzles? Tons of effort and training, as for me I have a trainer to help my chess composition and solving skills but I do compose my own problems for a while due to effort and hardwork.
If you mean putting a position into a study, you can do it by doing the following steps:
1.Create a study,
2.Put the position on analyze board
3. Click study on the menu option
4. Click on the chapter of the study and click interactive lessons
5.Comment on your moves, and you are all set!

I don’t understand

For me, I don't use a trainer. I have the help of my endgame tablebase and the Almighty Stockfish.
Creating a study for me involves the following steps.
- Don't actively think about it. Positions will come up in your head which will be good for a study.
- Put that position in the board editor and use Stockfish to help you find any cooks.
- Repeat and rinse until you find a satisfactory position.
- Done! Now share your studies.
I also have a blog on how to compose them, but I won't put the link here because it might count as advertising.

Puzzles? I made some on my own, and they don't have a perfect answer.
For example, this one --

Here, you have to find the winning plan for White. Now I found, 1. Bd5+ ....Nf7/Rf7
2. Bg7!! ...Kxg7
3. Rxh7+ ...Kg8
4. Rh8+ ...Kg7
5. R1h7#
But you achieve a complete double rook vs. Queen Endgame after, 1. Bd5+ ...Kh8
Another one I remember is this one--
https://lichess.org/editor/r1bq1rk1/ppp2ppp/1nn5/3P4/1b2P3/1QNBB3/PP3PPP/2R1K1NR_b_-_-_0_1
Here, 1. ...Be6, saves the day. If White captures the knight, then the Lady Vansihes! Or if he captures the bishop, then its Qxd3, all over with the cost of losing a pawn.
Creating study is easy.

@SamannOyB Your puzzles are completely incorrect. For example, the first one, after 2.Bg7 Black doesn't need to take, he can play 2...Ra6 where White is forced to play 3.Rh3, and after the trade of rooks Black is completely winning.
For puzzle two, White isn't forced to take the bishop, but can instead play the nice zwischenzug with Rd1! protecting the bishop while still forking the knight and bishop. Black will lose a piece no matter what.
Composing puzzles is easy, but checking for cooks is the hard part. Always do that before you publish a puzzle.

Well, I found the first repertoire Ra6, through Stockfish.
I told you my puzzles don't have a perfect answer, or they are simply foolish. Making puzzles, needs a lot of patience, practice and watching and playing numerous games.
I was just kidding.

Note that if anyone wants to see my compostions and are intersted, I have a study showing the best ones! Hope you enjoy it and here is the link:
