I have seen some players who have the word 'BOT' in purple letters written next to their username? Why is this and how do you get that title?

I don't know but I had heard a guy makes bot accounts @FairE001

are you sure about that? I have seen some 'bots' as team leaders and some have even messaged me.

Right now, a bot has messaged me saying there is a tournament in 1 hour.

Well I guess that was what it was programmed to do, the Bot's you see as leaders are set as leaders and aren't actually human but if you want to make a bot and get it the bot title then you have to verify it with lichess first I think

But a bot once told me to join his team I asked whether he is human or robot he told human and he also told he makes bots

@FairE001, @Knight04, and @Om_ki you can make a bot account. You first have to create a new account with no games. After you go to https://easychess.herokuapp.com/ Then press login and login with lichess. And use your new account then press bot and you can do some settings if you do not know coding. If you know coding you can code what your BOT can do.

You can try out the bot you made. But you cannot get a BOT title unless if you have a new account.
