Without even contacting Lichess they refunded 7 rating points from a suspected cheater that violated the TOS. The game was from yesterday so I'm impressed that their detection department informed me today. It clearly shows that they are on the ball or have improved methods to find cheaters.

Now I'm wondering if it's because it's harder to cheat at Chess 960?

why should it be??

I'm not sure it's materially more difficult but it is a bit more effort. Things like Stockfish do support 960, you'd just have to set up the position. So you have a smaller choice of engines and a little more setup time unless you automate.

Regardless, the Lichess Cheat detection is pretty darn good and always improving.

chess960 is no less played than classic mode
but anyway, yes, you can cheat
besides that even stockfish knows how to play
if people want they can always cheat
but it always depends on whether or not you want to do it

No it doesen't, it just shows they caught one person in a sea of many. Hard pass, no brownnosing pls.

yes i closed my old account and made a new one. I've been here for years. Any mod could verify that.
