Hey there, so I was curious if there were a metric out there to measure "game complexity".
Someone mentioned that average centipawn loss tends to increase as a result of complexity, so it doesn't provide a very good "benchmark" of playing skills.
However, it seems like if there were a measure for complexity, that a ratio of centipawn loss to this game complexity metric could provide a decent benchmark.
Thoughts?

More positions when there is literally only 1 move and anything else loses = more complex.

There is no unique measure for it.

Think of the space you and I move around in every day ... there are rules ...
Then there is chess-space ... what does it look like ... certainly it has rules ...
Etc, etc, etc ...
If you find the answer, please let us know.
