Finally I get it how to mate with bish and knight

@Alientcp @WinOr10PushUps @Darksouls

Well something we have in common is that I too have underpromoted to a bishop to deliver a < "spite check", but perhaps not to practice this particular fashion (King, Knight, Bishop against an opponents lone King) of mating motif, however I wrote about the Boden Mate which uses both Bishops (as you contend)@WinOr10PushUps.

And in the post of , What are some of the BEST tactics in chess? by@Bob_Sucarson I also gave my bias opinion perhaps fueled by ego and solipsism or my anger at @Darksouls, for his comments about my mother's morals on the eve of Mother's Day, no less.

But it seems there was a misunderstanding because of our respective ages and generations I believe and I was able to clear up the misunderstanding without the need for our attorneys to get involved as that is usually futile...most often in divorces, but don't get me started there...happy wife happy life, am I right? hahahaha.
Thanks to this thread I can now reliably deliver the bishop+knight mate to Stockfish 8. Why did I bother learning how? Ummmm....

I'm chessing quite happily witout knowing te B+N mate. At least never had to prove it. If ever a situation in a tournament comes I will try tho.
Ben finegold underpromoted and then premove-mated with b+n with 19sec on the clock and no add when I watched his stream.
It’s probably a really nice visualization exercise even for intermediate players. It might not be usable but it might still be useful?
@Sarg0n
True. Stockfish 8 pretty much heads for the "safe" corner, with little effort to confuse things, so it doesn't pressure me to find the most effective ways to constrain its King out in the middle of the board. But I can't find a human opponent who will obligingly lose all his/her pieces and leave me with Knight and Bishop. :-(
