Defensive chess wroth sh?t

Im unhappy because chess is a strategy game but the art defence are way too underpowered. In the game the guy wins who marches forward his pieces to the enemy's on full speed and if one don't take place in the opening by doing the same will get a huge loss - defensive strategy is not successful. Most games are dominated by defensive players called "campers" especially in shooters CS GO but strategy games too if the castle is defended the attacker has less advantage. Why in chess defensive tactics are not good and always outplayed easily? In Horde the only variant if black camps RARELY and u have to be a good player you can make some advantage if you set up a fortress and move 1 piece back and forth.
You are mistaken, defensive chess is very successful. Karjakin, Mamedyarov are great defenders.
All good players are extremely versatile and play universally.

Only noobs think that there are good and bad styles. Or for the sake of trolling.
@Sarg0n u seem angry but no need to call me a noob and troll. im not playing chess since ages and in most games there are a universal good and bad tactic and this applies to chess as well. U see all the best players play offensive chess? if u dont control the middle u get centipawn loss and all the GMS go for controlling the middle. pieces cover more field there.
Before Steinitz i would be agree with you but since XIX century the romantic attack chess is dead and actually is the rough and defensive what has success.
