Chessable Black Friday Sale

Chessable just started their black friday sale... but black Friday is 2 weeks away, the current sale is only 5 days, and the "theme" of the "current sale" is Tactics/Calculation...
so this leads me to believe that there are secretly multiple sales coming up throughout the month. Like next week it will be openings, then strategy, etc. Is this true?

Since I saw the Tactics sale, I'm considering getting the Woodpecker method as a chessable course. Thoughts on it?
(I know there are millions of opinions on the woodpecker method out there, so I guess I have no choice but to try it myself. But I wonder if I'll be able to decide whether to keep it or return it in 30 days.)
These days 'black Friday' is every day of the week after Halloween. Of course, multiple treats will be offered to tempt your wallet.
Regarding the Woodpecker method, it is a great book with lots of nice puzzles that are all chosen from the games of the world champions. However, I haven't met anyone who has the time or energy to strictly follow the method - you're supposed to solve all the puzzles, then go back and do them over and over again and the idea is by the end you will solve the whole book in a day!
In my most recent iteration, I've reached Ponomariov i.e. worked through most of the book but that took me months and I doubt I'll have the patience to go back and do it again.

Thank you!
I just got the woodpecker method course :D it must be worth it
the sale ends in 6 hours if anyone else wants to try lol

i don't think i'll buy any strategic course on sale because that's probably better in physical book format which forces you to put the pieces on the board and maybe add it to a study, and the movetrainer is not good for it

and also probably won't buy any opening course on sale because the only one i'm waiting for is a repertoire for white that comes out in 2025 (chessexplained KID 1.d4 2.0). i think it makes sense to buy a repertoire with white as you will use it in 50% of your games, but not worth it for black, because you will probably only get it in like 15% of your games.

so i'm good for now :D
As predicted the sale has changed from Tactical courses to Strategic courses. but i'm not getting any of them because those are probably better in physical book format, which forces you to put them on a real board and forces you to add the material to your own lichess study

I usually start off by buying the book. When it has collected enough dust on the shelf, unread, I get the course with video and entertain myself through the material. ;-)
E-books don't collect (physical) dust... but they are even easier to forget about.
