Yes it is possible. But it's hard to create a new one that cannot be refuted easily. Because even some of the known openings or gambits have been refuted and are considered not good enough for high class chess.
Trying out your own ideas is great! Keep doing what you do there is still enough to explore. You can also add a new variation to an already known opening and surprise your opponent with it.
I have known one user here on lichess who created his own opening but it was refutable and also very similar to the giuoco pianissimo. Still it was individual and he scored well with it in blitz matches :)
