yeah, chess was a serious game training the mind before 2020... now fide chessdotcom and others have turned it into something which is awful (compraring to chess in 2011 back when I began...)

There are enough sponsors who are more organically connected to chess, e.g IBM or Google or Alienware and I have no problem with those. But this? Do female chess players' ratings now include a bra number in brackets?
Alternative scenario in which FIDE would have rejected this deal. The same people now blasting FIDE would be saying: "Unbelievable, FIDE, due to its sexist prejudices, rejects money from a company who helps so many women feel better about themselves. Truly shocking."

Fantastic to see FIDE getting ahead of the curve on this. Since trans women are women, and trans women are going to dominate womens chess in the near future (men are better than women because of socialization? Yeah ok, we'll see if that holds up real soon), a breast augmentation company is wholly appropriate and, frankly, very progressive.
That the commie terfs at the Lichess "HQ" can't appreciate we're living in 2021 is their problem. Perhaps in 2031 when the above comes to fruition they'll reckon with their own transphobia instead of inventing quotes from imagined players.
There would be no controversy if mens chess was sponsored by a penis enlargement company either, owing to the fact we treat men as adults who're responsible for their own actions and insecurities. What controversy would there be? Society doesn't point the finger at misandry for mens individual choices, only women are babied in such a way. And also, my penis is massive so I don't care.
It is a sponsorship, when in the world sponsorships wanted to convey a message to the people? We live in a capitalist society and if brest implants are a legal thing to do, i guess they can also be a sponsor for a sport event if they offer more money. Secondly, why a woman should be offended by that. Can a woman just decide by herself to do a breast implant without being judged as an "insecure woman" or she need the permission from someone else?
