As the video showed, with so little time, Aronian and Grischuk couldn't even place their pieces upright on the board. It's my opinion that if it's impossible to move the pieces within the allotted time, it's not really chess. Armageddon games are the OTB equivalent of bullet. I'm not saying that no one should play them, but it seems preposterous to decide a four-hour hard-fought draw in 15 minutes of adrenaline.
