Am i good at chess now???

I consider anything under 1200 as mediocre; 1200 to 1400 as good; 1400 to 1600 as very good; 1600 and above as excellent. ( Over 2000 are mostly serious sort of chess players, which is fine, but most of us are just playing chess as a way to unwind after the workday... it is a way to relax and take are minds off the strive of life.)

@spyhunter357 the gap between 2000 and 2500 is a lifetime of hard work and talent, which is unachievable for most. 90% of chess players are casual players which makes the 1400 block seem average. But in terms of actual skill it's no where near average. You are not 'good' until you are actually 'good'.
