i refuse to take this loss
my opponent only has a knight, for the last 13 moves there is no possible way for him to win. i was low on time and blundered a win into a draw - NOT A LOSS.
Correct this mistake or I will be too salty to ever play chess again.

Well technically it is possible for white to mate.
Consider black king on a1, bishop on a2, white king on c1, knight on c2
Why even consider that crap, I'm not playing to self-mate then I might as well resign.

bruh u should read the newest fide rules for blitz and rapid. its funny and have no sense at all but it really is the rules.

Dirty flagging, as it is lovingly called (premove and wait for opponent to lose on time), is an art form that the highest Grand Masters use all the time (watch Hikaru's streams). It's not abusing the system - there is a clock for a reason.
They always come here when they lose - winning is never „unfair“.
Play with increment! Period.
Would be refreshing to see a thread 'I should not have won this game, please correct this or I will never play again!'
You‘ll always see the salty and bitter people here (we say „sour“ (=sauer) in German by the way). No winning sweets!
The rule really should say "Time out = automatic loss". Just be glad you even have the opportunity to get a draw.
