According to the computer analysis of one of my games, this position was a mate in 6 (I lost the forced sequence).
But stockfish 8 made a different response than what was listed in the computer analysis.
Is it still a mate in 6? Or perhaps the different move created a more complex mate in fewer moves?
The given combination is:
11.O-O-O f5
12.Qxf5 e5
13.Rd8+ Kxd8
14.Qxf8+ Kd7
15.Rd1+ Ke6
16.Bg4#
However stockfish 8 responds with 12 ... Nd7, not e5.
Can someone tell me what's goin on? Thanks!
