erm i agree but it doesnt have a monopoly with lichess. Just tell others about lichess
I use both and both are good in their own way!!! (lichess and chesscom) eg video lessons on chesscom are fun, and the ratings make a bit more sense. and lichess is good because its free, and the puzzles are nicely organized, and i like that there is a classical time control
Yes, they already trying to destroy future on very talented chess prodigy Akeras. Closing his acounts and not explaining why. But we know why.www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdpFDzR6qYk&t=80s

I think that might not be true as they might be serious (doesn't Magnus play there too???????) but just may not have played Lichess, or just might think there are not challenging enough players, even if it isn't free like lichess

Magnus used to play in lichess here a few years ago.

However, think about this:
Many people want to make chess sites, but only some can afford (like lichess) to make it entirely free, I guess what I am trying to say is both chess.com and lichess put time and effort, but chess.com needs to pay for maintenance and stuff, while lichess is more of a non-profit, and the founders of lichess don’t want to make any money back.

Because the owners need and want to make money, not to advertise chess
