The reason I mentioned winning in the title is precisely because many players, especially in shorter blitz games, are caught off guard by the opening, and would be more likely to play inaccuracies that would add up over time, allowing black to capitalize on the advantage. :)
With optimal play chess is a draw. Sure. Unfortunately few players play optimal in worse positions...
I played this Gambit a few times online 2023. I always got 5.e3 which is apparently not the most critical. But even here white can get an edge with ...e5 6.dxe5 Qxd1 7.Kxd1 Ng4 8.Ke2
