What is likely to be this year's strongest Chess960 event is underway: You can follow the 8-player tournament broadcast on Lichess, where Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren and 6 other top GMs will face off against each other. The G.O.A.T. Challenge is played in Germany from the 9th to the 16th.
We have updated the layout of our broadcast page: It is now more compact, features title images, and shows the number of viewers for ongoing tournaments. This is part of an overhaul that has already resulted in the addition of the multi-board Stockfish analysis and the subscription button to our broadcasts.
GM Hans Niemann has been banned by the Saint Louis Chess Club from participating in any of their invitational events this year.
