  1. Gingersquirrelnuts (9...d6) Go Jessehavefun!
  2. jessehf i always play 10.b4 in this position so i am trying to play something different to see if i can get them out of their prep
  3. jessehf Qc2 with a little cheapo threatening Ng5
  4. jessehf the idea is simple to play Nf4 and put a pony on e6 supported by the move d5 if allowed
  5. DrVonGoosewing (12.Nxg2) ...Qe8 here maybe with ideas of Nf4 with ...Bf6?
  6. jessehf what? isnt my original plan just really good now? Bf6 looks bad
  7. jessehf i thought either Nc6 or e5 were required
  8. jessehf after 14... exd5 i will have to think if i should take with the pawn or the knight
  9. jessehf if i take with the pawn and then put the knight on e6 it can be vulnerable to c6 ideas
  10. jessehf i think cxd5 is the most flexible option since, after lets say cxd5 c6 i dont have to take on c6
  11. jessehf i keep the tension and if he ever takes, he invites my knight into d5 and creates a weak d6 pawn, also with the pawn on d5
  12. jessehf i can at some point jump into e6, but i dont have to rush that decision to jump to e6
  13. jessehf another benefit of keeping this tension is for as long as it remains the knight on b8 is tied to the defense of the pawn on c6
  14. jessehf the only question is where do i put my bishop e3 or d2 is not completely obvious
  15. jessehf i am actually thinking that reallistically my bishop wants to go to f4 therefore i think a useful move like Rd1 is better than Be3 or Bd2
  16. jessehf because it is very likely that black will take on d5 after Nxd5 i vacate the f4 square for the bishop
  17. jessehf i dont really see an alternative to cxd5 for black here, unless there is Rc8 aha
  18. jessehf it doesnt do a whole lot though this Rc8, since i would just play Qb3 if ever cxd5 happens and then i have all the positional advantages
  19. jessehf Ne6 Rf7 Qxf5 Bxb2 would be a real pain
  20. jessehf i am not gonna go to e6 to quickly black has the idea to trade that knight with the Na6 Nc7 maneuver i feel like keeping it on f4 is ok
  21. jessehf for the moment
  22. jessehf ok guys time to play and less chat, i am down on time from now on i wont whisper
  23. gavalanche20 (17...Na6) Go jesse!
  24. jessehf i feel like i missed my chance for an advantage, it doesnt look great now
  25. jessehf or maybe i was just overoptimistic about my position
  26. jessehf i am a moron i should have taken on f6 first
  27. jessehf i just played the automatic Rad1 without thinking
  28. jessehf no wait nevermind then e6 would hang
  29. jessehf we have nothing to lose i am gonna do something crazy
  30. jessehf i think it works hopefully i didnt miss anything and if i did at least we already won
  31. jessehf i am gonna promote to rook just for the memes
  32. jessehf thats dissapointing i thought it was winning lol
  33. Think_Slow_Move_Slow gg
  34. DrVonGoosewing gg
  35. jessehf what? wow
  36. jessehf c4
  37. Gingersquirrelnuts gg
