  1. krispl gg
  2. mariuseg So I don't really know any serious theory on 1. c5, so I was pretty nervous in the beginning
  3. mariuseg I had just checked the opening explorer before the game to play something sensible
  4. mariuseg It felt somewhat wrong pretty early though I thought
  5. mariuseg What did you think of the opening archone?
  6. archone that's kind of how it goes a lot of the time in English; black is a bit cramped at first, but has time to untangle
  7. archone I kind of lost the thread after the opening, though
  8. archone I'm not sure why I didn't get f4 in sooner; that would've been hugely helpful
  9. archone once your DSB was gone, it wasn't too dangerous
  10. mariuseg yeah, I was kind of afraid of f4
  11. mariuseg yeah exactly
  12. mariuseg felt like I would suddenly be very cramped
  13. archone *nods* yeah, it looks like it
  14. archone I was worried about the e pawn being too weak after f4, but I don't think it really becomes an issue because I should be able to play e4
  15. archone nicely played
  16. archone good luck in the rest of the tournament
  17. mariuseg ty and you too!
  18. archone thanks :)
