  1. Scarff so far this is in my prep. Qd7 is not supposed to be very good for black
  2. Scarff 7...Ba6 Bxa6 Nxa6 Nf4 0-0-0 a3 Bxc3 Qxc3 is the main variation I looked at. Logical moves that the engine agrees with too
  3. Scarff Didn't prep for h6. This looks weakening though. Be2 maybe, and look for checks?
  4. Scarff Q+ Qf7 seems equal. Nf4 g5 Ng6 Rh7, and then what? So Be2 looks best to me
  5. Scarff I see no good moves for the c1 bishop either, Q looks good for now. So only Be2 left I think
  6. Scarff this already looks nice for me. Nf4 coming. Maybe Qg6 too? Or just Bd2 and 0-0-0?
  7. quirked I used to play this f5 winawer stuff as black, can't say I found it any good
  8. quirked white play always seemed straightforward and strong
  9. Scarff Nf4 and allow g5, or first Qg6 and allow Bxc3 bxc?
  10. Scarff or just Bd2? A few options that look okay here.
  11. Scarff Nf4 threatens Ng6 Rh7 Nf8 fork. So that looks strong and forcing as well
  12. quirked slight miscalculation here from scarff Nf8 is off limits as Bb4 covers it
  13. Scarff Bxc3 bxc Qc6 Bd2 looks like his best try. I don't see anything immediate there, but it still looks nice for me
  14. quirked i didnt think 12.Bxg5 worked due to hxg5 Qxg5 Be7
  15. quirked im unclear at all what white wanted here
  16. Scarff oh shit.... I missed this bishop! This is actually bad for me now!
  17. Scarff or wait! Maybe I'm lucky with Nxh8, I need to calculate here!
  18. Scarff I think I am actually. But this has nothing to do with skill, pure luck :D
  19. quirked wow I completely missed Nxh8
  20. quirked insanity from me
  21. Scarff I got lucky. 14.Nxh8 is the only winning continuation, and I only saw it after I saced the piece
  22. Scarff Nice to see that at move 10 Qg6, Nf4 and Bd2 are the three best moves. Those were my 3 candidate moves too :D
  23. Scarff 11....Rh7 I can't play Nf8 at all! I thought that was a good move in so many variations, but that bishop is looking back there defending
  24. Scarff That sneaky guy almost cost me the game, tricky long range backwards defensive moves!
