I have been playing chess since I was 3 years old, which means for more than 25 years now. Quality chess, however, I played intermittently, but enough to earn the right to participate on numerous international competitions as a junior player. Although life took me in different direction after university (where I studied mathematics), I am still a valued (as I've been told) member of multiple first and second senior league teams in Croatia and Slovenia. I love chess both for its simplicity and parallelism to real life. My favorite opening is Najdorf Sicilian. Enough said.
