The Ventura County Chess Club in CA, USA, meets Monday eve's for rated play. Our Ukrainian-American Club champion has gone off to college. Still, Ukraine's sovereignty is our fight, too. We in America are also anxious to preserve our democracy against a wannabe autocrat. (Please do not support Putin's puppy.) Actual lives are at stake, here and abroad.
