Born in Ireland in the mid fifties. An aging Boomer. Like to play for fun, and the occasional win helps too.
I taught myself the moves from a book around 1970. Played on and off (mostly off) since then.
Keeping up more with chess news today. Recently, I tried "Chess Lv. 100" windows app recently and won (and lost) my way to level 20.
