Jörgen Magnusson
Born 1967, completely blind since 3 years of age. On Lichess I always play without board, relying on the excellent Blind mode fascilities. I was junior world champion for visually impaired 1985-1988 and rated number 1 in the world for seniors in 1993, when I more or less gave up tournament chess in order to study. Now I am associate professor in the history of religions, but I gladly play online, and sporadically otb as well. My FIDE rating is 2272 in June 2020.
