i started playing later in life, a guy said i would never reach USCF 1300..i took the challenge and reached EXPERT LEVEL, blitz rating was 2100+ and had 2400 perf. ratings in 3 and 5 min. time controls. while rated 1800s i beat several NM CM and LM, and beat and 2400+ rated russian IM that grew up challenging KRAMNIK, when i beat him, he used my play and OLD SKOOL d5 for blk to not only draw H.NAKAMURA, in the NYS chess champs. and tie for first with 4/6, 3 w and 2 d with blk. but to have lines cited in editions of NEW IN CHESS..not bragging but chess is to be shared with many, by many...
