10 Tips To Improve at Fast Antichess
How to improve at fast Antichess Games in 10 stepsStep 1
Get good at slow Antichess. I.e. timecontrol 1+2 and higher.
Step 2
Get a good internet connection. Prefereably the ping
value should be less than 200, and the server
value less than or equal to 0.1.
Step 3
Improve your speed (don't use kb).
Step 4
Watch a lot of fast-paced games. Probably the tv of ChessTitans92/TheUnknownGuyReborn/devansh2008.
Step 5
Try to keep more time on your clock than your opponent's at all times. Best way to do this is to try to do the first 10 moves within 5 sec of your time, as it gains you a time advantage most of the times. Don't blunder trying to keep the time advantage tho.
Step 6
Use the clock app on mobile, and see how fast you can solve the Antichess Puzzles here. The faster the better.
Step 7
Improve via Timed Training to increase your speed.
Step 8
Play Tournaments. The Hourly Antichess Arenas at 5:00, 5:30, 9:00, 9:30, 19:00, 19:30 UTC are of the timecontrol 1+0. Play them.
Step 9
Don't play hyper (1/2+0). Hyper never helps to improve yourself in other time controls. Play with increment of +1 or +2 to get better endgames.
Step 10
Enable Zen Mode to not get distracted by the chat.
The Zen Mode option shows on a lichess page when you are playing.
