David Lewis
My father taught me chess as a boy in the 1950s. I joined East Ham Chess Club (London) in 1972 and achieved a rating of 134 (BCF). At 73 I rekindled my lifelong interest in chess and joined Hendon Chess Club (London). I also lead a U3A chess club for retired and semi-retired people.
