Introducing : Impulsive chess, part 1
There's absolutely no need to calculate variations all the time. Kotov was wrong and IM Willy Hendriks was right : "Move first, think later".Today I came home after some shopping and walking and wanted to play some chess games in search for fun or beauty. Yes, dear reader, you read that right, not in search for rating points or various liters of adrenaline but fun or beauty. Then during the game I suddenly felt very tired so it was difficult to calculate chess variations, besides the fact that I'm not such a calculator in speed chess anyway, so I played mostly auto-pilot and impulsive. Apart from one blunder by me (at move 22) I think the game was enough fun to share with other chess players.
