I am in my early fifties and have not played rated games (with USCF) in years. I am setting some serious goals, which will remain private for now, lol, for fear of over-reaching. My old rating on gameknot.com's site was quite a bit better (1816). So I am probably realistically rated around 1600? I wrote a book about chess and poetry called, "The Tao of the Chessboard." I also enjoy surf-fishing at Cape Cod (Massachusetts). I am training quite a bit with chessable.
