I'm a returning student at CSU Chico in northern California. I study religion, Asia, linguistics, and Japanese. I suck at chess, but I've always loved it, and I come back to it periodically. I keep trying to make it a regular habit, and Lichess has gotten so good this seems like the best place for my next attempt.

I don't follow professional chess much, and wish I had more friends who liked chess and could draw me more into that world.
