The important thing to know is: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That’s your starting point. Jesus voluntarily gave his life as the only acceptable payment for our sins. He is the one and only way to eternal life. As for chess: I’m old and slow and play it for fun, win or lose. No take backs asked for and none granted in rated games.
