GuoFish is a homegrown AlphaZero-lineage chess engine. 10.9M parameter transformer with a factored policy head and a tanh-bounded value head, trained from scratch on a 90M-position multi-PV Stockfish corpus. Driven by a C++ PUCT search with batched GPU evaluation under CUDA graph capture, sharded Zobrist transposition cache, cross-move tree reuse, and 5-piece syzygy. Running on an RTX 5070.
