Hi. In this blog, I will talk about depressions
I have been fighting with depressions for years now, and therefore, I want to talk about it and explain what depressions are, how it feels like and how to prevent yourself from getting depressions.

1. What are depressions?
Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious mental disorder that negatively affects how you feel, think, act, and perceive the world.

2. What causes depressions?
Depression can be caused in many different ways. (Mostly by heavy events)
For example: money problems, losing a job, constantly being in a fight with people you love, losing someone you love (by breaking up or death), overthinking and more.

2.1. What does depression cause?
Depressions can end very dangerous. Having depressions is not a joke, and it can end fatal if someone has it. Depressions can have many causes.
For example: feelings of sadness, hopelessness, loss of interest in activities, start being unsocial or even suicide.

3. How to prevent yourself from getting depression.
If you don’t have depressions, be thankful, but always be careful. Depressions can come from one day to another, without you realizing it,
How to prevent it?
Talk. If you have problems in life that are bothering you, please talk with people you trust and who really listen to you. Keeping problems for your own can also cause depressions. Free your mind.

4. What to do if you get depression?
If you have depressions, please look for professional help.
It doesn’t matter where you life, in every country are open doors to talk with professional psychiatrists. You can also go in a phone call with professionals.

5. Numbers/Statistics.
Sadly, the depression and suicide numbers have increased by a lot over the years.
Here are some statistics about depressions and suicide:
-332 million people worldwide suffer from depression. (4,4%)
This number has increased by 18% by the last 10 years.
-720.000 thousand people have committed suicide in 2024. (0,8%)
This number has decreased by 8,5% by the last 10 years.

6. My own experience with depression.
I am suffering with depression. This has officially been approved by my doctor. The feeling of having depression is the worst painless feeling you can imagine. For me, it feels like living life has no point. I am overthinking non-stop and can’t find reasons to life. I am really losing hope in winning the fight against depression.
And because of my own experience, I want to help everyone to not get depressions and stay happy.
I do still have depressions and I don’t think that I will ever get out of it. I am suffering hard from depression and I lost hope.

7. Conclusion.
Depressions are dangerous and it can hit everyone. If you have it, please talk with professionals about it. Depressions are nothing to make fun of and can ruin someones life.
If you know anyone who suffers with depression, please help them. Every single second of help can safe another life.
