My Marathon Perspective

Here is My Perspective

I played 168 Games and as a 1100 In blitz my average opponent was 1824.
I played 168 Games
Beserked 10%
Got 38 Points
And placed 6143. Guess how many points the person behind me had. 37. I was the Last Player who had 38 Points
With just 9 hours or so. I really am happy for my placement.

Trainings

Here is my Previous Blog - https://lichess.org/@/Ar4Asd1_Chess/blog/lichess-autumn-marathon-and-some-trainings/0Beyt83z.

I mentioned that I learned the CCA From GothamChess.

Now I have a book about him Here are some tactics to learn
Also I have OTB Experience at FIDE Level and how to get crushed by opponents.

  • CCA
  • Think what your Opponent is thinking
  • Knights work in Closed spaces and Bishops work in Open Spaces.
  • Outside Passed Pawns
  • Memorise Mainlines and Othe Variations of 2 or 3 opening you want to play.
  • Find Moves that can help to checkmate or win material even a sacrifice or a seemingly "Useless" Move can become a Useless Move.

Marathon Tip

Make sure you can last long and not giveup. Remember to keep brakes and have a plan before playing. Don't play too much
