Bird Opening: Dutch Variation
  1. Cornelius25 didnt think you were you going to castle king side

  3. Cornelius25 which wasnt bad since I wanted to do a king side attack
  4. smsilb yeah, that was my plan since my pawns were pointing towards the queenside
  5. smsilb but by the time I got to castling, it was kind of moot since i'd blundered away the knight
  6. Cornelius25 I was also looking to put my queen on e2 with the threat of the a pawn to be retaken with check
  7. Cornelius25 I also thought you were going to double up the rooks to attack my g2 pawn, thats why i put my rook on f2
  8. smsilb yeah, that was definitely the threat.
  9. smsilb once you had your bishop on f3 and rook on g2, i couldn't get enough pieces pointing in that direction

  20. smsilb plus, when your opponent throws away pieces, it hardly matters! haha
  21. Cornelius25 im still learning it, there are some traps like the swiss gambit (i think its called that)
