If you didn't know chess and you could calculate thousands of positions per second, would you bother to learn chess principles?
Make computers take minutes to consider a few moves in advance on at most a few branches, in blitz, then let them play against themselves to learn chess. They will learn chess principles pretty damn fast.
You can never compare humans and machines if they are out of alignment. You think they want the same thing, capturing the enemy king, but that's not what YOU want.
