14-Year-Old Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus Breaks Into the World Top 50!!

Yagiz is playing like a young Kasparov. No hesitation on exchanges to continue the attack. Very confident and aggressive play.

It's nice seeing kids in the top ranks :)
We need new players, in all the OTB Arenas

Good to see the youngstars to show their potential against top players.

What about 5...Qf6? Is not this subpar?

Wow that is absolutely insane to see him crush MVL in one of the textbook Spanish exchange 'my majority is better than your bishops' endgame, in no small part because it's not supposed to be!

I'm looking over it with a compy because I have no clue where MVL went wrong, and it seems to think that Erdogmus gained a slight edge after 15. .. Re8 and just kept nursing it from there.

It's hard not to see it as something special when a 14 year old is giving a super-gm an endgame lesson from a relatively simple position. Great game choice (again)!
