How to Become Good at Annotating Your Chess Games

Really helpful, thanks.

Great post! My coach told me always be critical of yourself, even if you won. It’s better to be overly critical of your work than to not be critical at all. If you analyse objectively it really helps to pinpoint target areas!

I wish I spent more time annotating my games. I love chess and I know it will improve my game. I was thinking about annotating my favorite chess game and making a poster out of it. The hardest part of that is not knowing which game to choose!!!

I like the part about learn to speak chess... so many people approach chess with the wrong language and it hinders the understanding process. Thank you for your work.
