thanks for the chessgames.com having games with theme sort of index. It might make for game examples following theme exposition something I might consider. (not defining or introducing theme buried in games, but solidifying a well defined theme, or fixing a poorly defined theme, by more examples within distractions of games to cern and discern what it is or what it is not.

not all concepts are worded equally or as easily. I have had more than one chess theme appear to me as understood by hand wavy words, that the presentation appear to think was clearly pointed at (from the author point of view it sure was obvious, as all experts by definition having already the internal version of it already experienced and likely unambiguous, once they have a word for it.

I am not saying you are doing that. Not from what I read so far. You do examine many angles. But I am emphasizing what I think is good to that themes first and example illustrations later (to surf on your own hint to this speech scheme from TFML, or was it MFTL).
