Doubt I'd even have wrote about it if it didn't win GOTM

I analyzed this game with Stockfish, and it said that the first sacrifice with the knight was actually a mistake (not a brilliant). Also the bishop trade was a mistake as well. Don't get me wrong, I think the game was incredible (and I could never play on somerapidplayer's level), but I just thought I would point that out.

In both cases multiple moves were winning and the move I chose was one of them, I do agree that it was more accurate to sacrifice the bishop rather than the knight, but the knight sacrifice is also completely winning, similar situation with Bxf1, black already has a very good position and doesn't need to play perfectly to maintain their winning position.

  1. .. Bf6! impressed me the most.

My question is about embedded games. I see them all at the last move, would prefer at the first move. Did you specify it somehow or I need to refresh my browser and reinstall windows? Can you look if there is #move number after game links?

Thank you, @AtomikMorphy, and the embedded games should be fixed now to show the first move, they are automatically set to start on the last move.
