  1. jcarmody (2.Nf3) Hi, gav. Of course it's an odd opening.
  2. jcarmody (2.Nf3) f5 or/and e6 to get a stonewall
  3. jcarmody (3.e3) won't be my kind of a stonewall with the pawn on f4
  4. jcarmody (4.b3) I should play f6 just to be annoying
  5. jcarmody (4.b3) or, is that a good move?
  6. jcarmody (8...Ba5) it could start to get crowded over here
  7. jcarmody (13...Rd8) now I can play c6 and kick the N
  8. jcarmody (21...Ng6) this feels bad
  9. PumPkiiN did you expect 1.F4?
  10. jcarmody no
  11. PumPkiiN did you prep?
  12. jcarmody not really. I looked at your history against 1.e4 d5 and c5 and planned to play c5.
  13. PumPkiiN ahh ok. You can select in lichess the openings which you played recently. This helps me always to look what my opponent is currently playing
  14. PumPkiiN many of my opponents dont expect this but im playing this for a long time now
  15. jcarmody that's true. I've often prepped the most played lines only to look at the recent games and see something else
  16. mkubecek You can limit the explorer to only show numbers from certain time interval (with month granularity).
  17. PumPkiiN indeed
  18. mkubecek I usually use "from 2023-01" or "2023-09", sometimes "from 2024-01".
  19. mkubecek I also saw someone playing one opening in rapid games and another in classical, consistently.
  20. PumPkiiN anyways.. good game and I wish you best for future :-) good night lads
  21. mkubecek See you...
