How do you lower your rating deviation?

I think your rating deviation will be lowered automatically as you play more rated games. A larger pool of played games gives the system the information needed to more accurately assess your rating.

Other than playing more games, I don't think there is much you can do.

In theory playing many games against opponents of similar rating and with low RD values should help. In practice, this might not be the case.

Only registered members with one week of lichess activity can contribute to the Q&A.
