Stream Language

Language tags are no longer required in stream titles. The language code in the stream title will be ignored. You will still need to put lichess.org in the title to appear as live. Here's how to change the language:

Twitch stream:

The Stream Language setting can be found on the Stream Manager section of your dashboard. To set your stream language, click the drop down menu on the Stream Info panel. Alternatively, click the Edit Stream Info box on your Quick Actions panel. Setting your stream language will apply a label to your channel that will allow people using the site or filtering via that language to find you easily.

Youtube Studio:

• Login to https://studio.youtube.com.
• Click settings (the gear icon in the lower left)
• Click Upload Defaults
• Click Advanced Settings
• Use the Video Language menu to select your audience (video language is the same as audio language)

To set audio language for a single stream only (ignoring your default selection), on the first page of the go live settings (at the details stage), scroll to the bottom and and click SHOW MORE, then scroll further and you will see the language menu box.
